The Research Unit co-ordinates research and evaluation across CDF.
Current work
We conduct a programme of research on important issues for community development and the community sector. Our current projects include:
- Testing indicators of community involvement
- Survey of community development workers in the UK
- Effective interdisciplinary action on sustainable development
- Who are the capacity builders? A study of local forms of community work.
Evaluation
CDF pioneers research and evaluation methodologies and we conduct the evaluation of CDF's projects:
